Garrett Devoe is an American songwriter, who performs and records under the moniker Pure Horsehair. Usually performing solo and recording by means of vintage, outdated or budget equipment, centered around acoustic guitar and vocals. Garrett was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ and raised in Mechanicville, NY, influenced and confounded early on by a found 8track copy of White Light/White Heat and a free outdoor John Prine performance, as well as, SST and Tomato recording artists. Mokushi (Simeon Dotkov) is a Bulgarian Hard-Techno Project which started in a schranz/hardcore direction, but eventually settled down on 160 BPM covering the Hard-Techno style in its own way. The beats are distinctive and so is the structure of the songs. The sound is anything, but minimal and is full of Bulgarian and Japanese samples (including a lot of authors speech and singing) and a lot of remixes of obscure bands and tracks.
