The Sydney based four and sometimes 5 piece have just released their debut, the ironically titled mini-album Extended Play.
From the inner west the band is delivering a refreshing vibe to the Australian music scene, they began when drummer Beaks and bass player Paddy, met busker Dylan, one night outside the Coopers Arms hotel in Newtown.
Dylan, fresh from N.Z. and not yet 18, was on the streets with his guitar busking for coin outside the pub. “We met him,” Paddy says, “when the Coopers Arms bouncer started hassling us to give the dude money".

John Feldmann e Simon Williams lavorano insieme in un magazzino di scarpe che era chiamato "Na Na's" a Los Angeles, in California. Insieme ad un loro amico chitarrista decidono, nel 1994, di formare la band. Darrin Michael Pfeiffer dopo aver sentito un loro demo-tape decide di aggiungersi ai Goldfinger. Klaus Doldinger (born May 12, 1936) is a German saxophonist, especially well-known for jazz and as a composer of film music.
He was born in Berlin, and entered a Düsseldorf conservatory in 1947, graduating in 1957. In his student years, Doldinger gained professional performing experience, starting in 1953 in the German Dixieland band The Feetwarmers, and recording with them in 1955. Later that year he founded Oscar's Trio, modeled on Oscar Peterson's work. Doldinger is perhaps best known for his film scores to the acclaimed German U-Boat film "Das Boot" and later "The NeverEnding Story".
