Since the group foundation in 1993, Yamato travells around the world with Japan's traditional Wadaiko drums. The group was born in Nara that is said to be the birthplace of Japanese culture. They perform using several dozen large and small drums (including an odaiko made from a huge tree over 400 years old). more info at yamato's web site .
