Formed in 2002, Simply Waiting's original line up was Matt Shetler, Justin Smith, Jason Thompson (bass), Josh Guild (Keys), Brandon Guthrie (Drums). The band recorded a two song demo and the EP "Cutting Ties" with this line up.
