Gregorian è un gruppo musicale tedesco, guidato da Frank Peterson, che rilegge, utilizzando il canto gregoriano, famosi pezzi pop, rock e metal. Poiché i loro arrangiamenti comprendono sia cantato che accompagnamento strumentale, la loro musica non può considerarsi canto gregoriano a tutti gli effetti (questo genere è solo vocale). In origine Gregorian era concepito come un gruppo più orientato verso il pop, sulla scia del successo degli Enigma. I Cantori Gregoriani are a male voice group which exclusively dedicates itself to the study and the spread of Gregorian chant. Consisting entirely of specialists, the ensemble bases its own performances on the research of semiology, that is the study of antique manuscripts dating from the Xth –X1th centuries.
