ダンス、ロック、ポップスの三位一体、「音」と「映像」をテーマに2003年に本格活動開始。現在はヴォーカルであり、作詞作曲、プログラミングすべてを司るRAM RIDERに、VJ、ギターを加えた編成で活動。「PORTABLE DISCO」をサウンド・コンセプトに掲げ、2004年にインディー・リリースしたシングル『MUSIC』がオリコンインディーズチャート7位を記録。各地のFMでもオンエアの度に問い合わせが殺到し話題となる。2005年に入り『SWEET DANCE』をリリースした後、同年6月に『ユメデアエルヨ』でメジャー・デビュー。その後、『ベッドルームディスコ』『HELLO』をリリース。11月にはSPACE COWBOYやRYUKYUDISKO等も参加した１stアルバム『PORTABLE DISCO』をリリースし、ダンス・ミュージックの枠を大きく超えるスマッシュ・ヒットを記録。数々のメディアから“日本版ダフトパンク／アンダーワールド”“ポップスとクラブミュージックの架け橋的存在”等と称される。 2006年に入り、3月にコンセプトアルバム『PORTABLE DISCO 8bit edition』をリリース。前年がNintendoの100周年という事もあり、巷で話題になってい た“ファミコン”に代表される8bitピコピコサウンドによって生まれ変わった同作も話題に。7月には『旅へでよう／ANY COLORS』をリリースし、12月リリースのavexとSTUDIO 4℃が打ち出す映像と音楽の究極のコラボ企画『Amazing Nuts!』 にも参加をしている。そして2007年4月に新曲2曲に8曲のREMIX楽曲を収録した『きみがすき ＋ REMIX TUNES』をリリース、2008年5月にフランフランのロングセラーコンピCDの記念すべき１０作目『space program 「STAR」 Compiled by RAM RIDER』を選曲・監修を担当する。 そして2009年3月にはRAM RIDERによる新プロジェクト「PRIVATE PLANET」として韓国のダンスミュージックユニットCLAZZIQUAI PROJECTでもお馴染みのHoran、J-POPのエレクトロカバーで2008年に注目を浴びたnoelleなどさまざまなカラーの女性Vocalをゲストに迎えた『FUTURE MEMORIES』をリリースし、話題となる。 またサウンドプロデューサーやリミキサーとしての顔も持ち、浜崎あゆみ、鈴木亜美、HALCAＬI、SEAMO、sawa、m-flo、SPEED等多くのアーティストの作品を手掛け、様々なシーンでも活動の幅を広げている。 ライブそしてDJとして、ROCK IN JAPAN FES.05･06・07・08･09、SUMMERSONIC 2005、RUSHBALL 06、COUNTDOWN JAPANには5年連続出演する等、大型フェスティバルへの出演や主催イベント“PORTABLE DISCO”の開催等、パフォーマンスを中心に音と映像のPORTABLE DISCOを展開中。 2012年12月5日には、自身として初めてボーカロイドを利用した楽曲「ハナミズキ」をリリース。 .
