The concept of the music of Abysmal Grief is based on the medianic relations with the World Beyond and the inner spiritual research by the divination of the deceased. Instigators were a hardcore punk band from West Yorkshire, England. They released a demo tape in 1983, a live in Leeds cassette tape soon followed, and the following year they released the EP 'The Blood is on Your Hands' on Bluurg records.
