Days In Grief was a 4-pieced emocore-band from Cologne, Germany in 2001. Their breakthrough took place in 2005 when they released the hard-hitting album 'Behind The Curtain Of A Modern Tomorrow', a genious album full of hooks and punches with a political edge from time to time. They have supported bands such as Bullet For My Valentine and My Chemical Romance. And in november 2005 they gained international fame when they supported Rise Against and The Used during the Taste Of Chaos Tour. The concept of the music of Abysmal Grief is based on the medianic relations with the World Beyond and the inner spiritual research by the divination of the deceased. Instigators were a hardcore punk band from West Yorkshire, England. They released a demo tape in 1983, a live in Leeds cassette tape soon followed, and the following year they released the EP 'The Blood is on Your Hands' on Bluurg records. The 1985 release 'Nobody Listens Anymore LP' increased their popularity, securing them a spot on Pushead's 'Cleanse the Bacteria' compilation LP. .
