The Rascals はイギリス・リヴァプール出身の３人組のインディ・ロックバンド。 The Last Shadow PuppetsでAlex Turner(Arctic Monkeys)と活躍するMiles Kane(guitar,vocal)を中心に結成。メンバー他はJoe Edwards (bass)、 Greg Mighall (drums)。 元はThe Little Flamesのメンバーであった３人がThe Little Flamesの解散に伴い結成したバンドである。 Arctic Monkeysのツアー・サポートなどを務め、2007年にDeltasonicと契約。 2007年12月に1stシングル『Out of Dreams E.P』でデビューした。2008年に8月に1stアルバム『Rascalize』を発表。しかし、英国でのギターロックバンドの飽和状態の中で商業的には苦戦し彼らのデビューアルバムは全英100位という結果に終わる。 2008年7月フジロックフェスティバルで来日。 2009年9月に同バンドのフロントマンMilesの脱退を機に解散を発表した。 今後、Milesはソロ活動をはじめるということである。 .

The Rascals (initially known as The Young Rascals) were an American soul and rock group of the 1960s.
