Cotzraiz ist eine deutsche Punkband aus dem Ruhrgebiet. Gegründet wurde die Band Cotzraiz 1994 von Bogo (Gitarre, Gesang) und Jan (Schlagzeug, Gesang) am Rande des Ruhrgebiets. Nach kurzer Zeit stieß noch Bastian hinzu. Erweitert wurde die Band dann noch durch Nick (Bass). In dieser Besetzung fand dann 1994 auch das erste kleine Konzert der Band statt. Ein paar Monate später folgte dann schon das zweite Konzert in einem Jugendzentrum, welches im Chaos endete. Nach ein paar Konzerten stieg Bastian wieder bei Cotzraiz aus und gründete mit CB die Band Ratt´n´plage. Cotzraiz machten von nun an zu dritt weiter. Einige Proberaumumzüge...

The Mexican tenor Francisco Araiza made his concert debut in Mexico City in 1969, where he subsequently appeared for the first time in opera in 1970 as Jaquino. He went to Europe and took master-classes with Richard Holm and Erik Werba at the Munich Musikhochschule after having won the Bavarian Broadcasting Voice Competition.
