Blindside è una band Post-Hardcore/Christian metal proveniente da Stoccolma, Svezia. Si è formata nel 1994 come "Underfree" ed ha tenuto questo nome per due anni prima di dare alle stampe l'EP di debutto nel 1996.

Formed several Years ago Blinded released 2 full length albums and toured extensively across Canada.
After taking a break we relocated to Kelowna and added a fifth member, and new Singer Andrew Avril. With the new line-up change we progressed from a Skatepunk style to a more original Modern Alternative Rock style.
We no longer tour but have slowly produced and released some new work including a heartwarming narrated christmas story called Santa's Note (www.santasnote.ca)

Blind Willie McTell, (nato William Samuel McTier a Thomson nel 5 maggio 1901 e morto a Milledgeville il 19 agosto 1959), è stato un cantante, compositore e chitarrista blues. Nacque non vedente da un occhio ma presto perse completamente la vista.
Suonava utilizzando la tecnica del fingerpicking su una chitarra acustica a 12 corde e nel corso della sua vita registrò vario materiale tra il 1927 ed il 1956. .

I Blind Melon si formarono nel 1989 a Los Angeles dall'incontro di due musicisti provenienti dal Mississippi, il chitarrista Roger Stevens ed il bassista Brad Smith. La formazione vantava alla voce il carismatico Shannon Hoon. Dopo le prime difficoltà iniziali, nel 1992 la band pubblica con la Capitol Records il primo lavoro dal titolo omonimo.
