María Amparo Ochoa Brown (born Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico - 29 September 1946 - 8 February 1994) was a Mexican singer. They played Cuban music with electric guitars, developing the unique Peruvian electric guitar sound that led to the birth of Peruvian psychedelic cumbia and chicha.
