Yellow Magic Orchestra è una band di electropop giapponese, formatasi nel 1978. Ha raggiunto la seconda posizione nella classifica dei migliori artisti giapponesi stilata da HMV. Il gruppo è considerato uno dei pionieri del Synth-pop e dell'Electro-pop, insieme ai tedeschi Kraftwerk. La Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) è un gruppo rock britannico sorto a Birmingham nel 1969 dalle ceneri della "beat band" dei Move, fondato dal frontman Jeff Lynne e dall'istrionico Roy Wood, e piuttosto noto specialmente nella seconda metà degli anni '70.
