メンバーの多くがカトリック教徒であり、歌詞にもイエス・キリストの教えに基づいた物が多く含まれているが、彼等は自身をクリスチャン・バンドと称していない。
2007年、デビューアルバム「His Last Walk」をリリース。現Escape the FateのボーカルであるCraig Mabbittがスクリームとクリーンボーカルを担当した本作は、クリスチャンメタルコアらしい雰囲気を纏った楽曲を展開し、注目を集める。また当時はポストハードコア色も比較的強く、PVのユニークさも話題になった。
その1stアルバム発売後、ボーカルのCraigが脱退。バンドは新たにBeau Bokanをボーカルとして迎え入れ、Fearless Recordsに移籍する。
2009年、2ndアルバム「Witness」をリリース。ベーシストのJared Warthが本格的にスクリーム/グロウルボーカルを担当し、Beauはクリーンを中心に歌う構成となる。このアルバムはビルボードチャートにて56位の快挙を見せることとなった。
2011年、3rdアルバム「Awakening」をリリース。前作のスタイルを踏襲しつつ、更にアグレッシブな楽曲構成になる。このアルバムはビルボードチャートにて32位と前作の記録を更新。
2013年、4thアルバム「Hollow Bodies」をリリース。August Burns Redのボーカル、Jake Luhrs等のゲストを迎えて作られた本作は、ビルボードチャートにて15位という快挙を達成、バンドとしての実力と知名度を世間に見せ付ける結果となった。
