Based in Tokyo, Makoto Shimizu, better known as simply Makoto, is Japan’s chief Drum & Bass ambassador. After completing an Acoustic Engineering major at Nippon University, Makoto first signed with LTJ Bukem’s legendary Good Looking Records back in 1999.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, releasing a long string of quality music in the form of singles and EP’s, but also on the famous ‘Earth’ and ‘Progression Sessions’ compilation albums. 2003 saw the release of his much anticipated debut album ‘Human Elements’. Kawabata Makoto (河端一) is the guitarist and leader of Acid Mothers Temple. Kawabata is chiefly famous for his leadership of Acid Mothers Temple and its variants; however, he has also played in many other bands since the start of his career in the late 1970s (Baroque Bordello, Mothers of Invasion, Floating Flower, etc), and has an extensive solo discography. OCEANLANE（オーシャンレーン）は、武居創と直江慶を中心とした日本のロックバンド。 アメリカ合衆国とイギリスにそれぞれルーツを持つ武居と直江によるネイティブな発音の英語詞が特徴である。
オリジナルメンバーの武居と直江はともに作詞作曲を行う。それぞれ自分の作曲した曲のメインボーカルを取ることが多いが、直江が作った曲に武居が詞を乗せて歌ったり、直江が作詞作曲した曲を武居が歌うこともある（逆のパターンは今のところ見られない）。また、ツインボーカルの曲も数曲存在する。
