DZIDZIO is a pop-band created in 2009, in Novoyavorivsk, a city in Yavoriv Raion, Lviv Oblast (region) of Ukraine. The band was originated by two members, Dzidzio and Lesyk, with support by their fellow musician – Kuzma Skryabin. Therefore it’s no wonder that Dzidzio calls Kuzma his "first teacher". Maurizio is the operating name of Moritz Von Oswald, the Berlin-based musician and entrepreneur who owns a half-share in Basic Channel Records and co-produced the label's various releases, a wildly influential series of fuzzy EPs with purposefully low production values recorded under the aliases Cyrus, Quadrant, Phylyps and Radiance.
