The Parliaments were an early doo-wop singing group from Plainfield, New Jersey. Formed in the back room of a barbershop, they were a quintet composed of: * George Clinton * Stingray Davis * Fuzzy Haskins * Calvin Simon * Grady Thomas The group was based on Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers, but quickly created a unique sound, including, most notably, very bizarre lyrics. The are two bands named Cruciamentum. The first one is a death metal band from UK which formed in 2005. They released their debut album Charnel Passages through Profound Lore in 2015. The other one is a split-up black metal group from Norway (Larvik) consisting of members of Dies Irae. They only released a demo in 1993 called 'Luctus Infinite'. .
